Anyone can list a house. It takes no real special skill, but SELLING a house is another story. That's when you need someone who knows the market, knows the trends, knows what motivates BOTH the seller and the buyer and understands all of the nuances of both the buyers and sellers. The agent should have great negotiation skills, knows when the close, and when to give some space. After all, it could be the biggest financial investment you'll ever make.Don't you want a real professional? That's what you're going to get with Mateo. Mateo Manzari did an outstanding job for us. He is knowledgeable about the market in Maui and was able to negotiate a better price and terms for us. Mateo always answered the phone or returned phone calls promptly. He treated us like we were family members. I cannot say enough about the service he provided. We've worked with realtors in Hawaii and on the mainland and Mateo is in the top 1%. His tech background really came through in the pictures and videos he took of our condo. My husband and I highly recommend him.

Mateo was fantastic! Due to some unfortunate circumstances, I had to sell my condo fairly quickly. Mateo explained the process and quickly answered all of my questions, helped me set an asking price and had a buyer lined up in a couple of days. He even helped get some personal items boxed up and sent to me and arranged to donate anything I didn't need (sofa, table, etc). I definitely would recommend contacting Mateo if you are looking to buy or sell. 5-star service all the way!

When we were ready to sell our Kihei condo we contacted Mateo to list for us. We chose him because of the knowledge of our property and we soon realized what a great decision we made. From the beginning Mateo took the reigns and guided us through the selling process. He helped us stage and prep the property to give us the best chance of getting a full price offer. Mateo is new-ish to the Maui real estate market but he’s very knowledgeable about all the weird ins and outs of buying a home in Hawaii…it’s very different than buying property anywhere else in the US. I ultimately wasn’t ready to purchase a home when we met, but I did want to find a realtor I felt safe working with, so that when we decide to make our move, we’ll already have an established relationship with a realtor who completely understands our needs but also understands his specific market. We love Kihei, actually the entire island of Maui, and I also love that when we’re ready to make the big move, we’ll have Mateo helping us. He’s genuinely the ultimate “Maui dude”…I love that he was able to show us all the down-home little local places to get the best fish tacos (if you know, you know!!) but also understands what you want in a high-end housing market. Down-to-earth, balanced guy, and also really good networker if you need other local contacts. He’s super funny, and very easy to talk to. I would recommend Mateo without reservation. He’s the guy you should talk to if you’re looking to buy in Kihei.

Mateo was the most helpful Realtor I have ever had the pleasure 0f working with. From the first meeting, he immediately knew the market as to price for the type and location of the property, and possible other Realtors and clients. His promptness to act on every detail and request, whether a requirement or not, is exemplary. His motives were obvious from the very beginning. Sell the property, please the seller and the buyer, and get the optimum price for the sale. Mateo takes every request personally and acts in the best interest of the person making that request, whether it be the buyer or seller. His offer to help with any extra work that came up during the selling process was an extremely appreciated part of the sale. Mateo truly is a trusted professional.
